Why White Pumpkins?

The White Pumpkin is a poem about angel babies written by Jennifer Giles which inspired Kayla Troutman, Crystal Lewis-Tuttle, and Joshua Tuttle to collect pumpkins in honor of the Tuttleā€™s four heavenly children. In 2021, a discarded pumpkin from the previous year grew into an impromptu pumpkin patch. Kayla chose to paint images of these pumpkins for her art studio and invited Crystal to speak during her Global Wave of Light event. In 2022 the trio hosted their first remembrance walk and created the White Pumpkin Family.

Jennifer Giles is a singer/songwriter from South Carolina. Read her White Pumpkin Poem on Facebook here. She also wrote a song about her angel baby Madelyn. Listen on YouTube here. Learn more at jennifergilesmusic.com.
