October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. We currently host two remembrance carts in Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. These carts are filled with literature, resources, and keepsakes chosen carefully to bring comfort to families in their time of grief. Every Cozy Basket purchased helps us replenish these items to support another family in need. Baskets can be sent to ANYONE to say Happy Fall, Thinking of you, or Thank. The choice is yours. Orders are due October 5th. Baskets will be shipped or delivered on or before October 10th.
Why White Pumpkins?
The White Pumpkin is a poem about angel babies written by Jennifer Giles which inspired Kayla Troutman, Crystal Lewis-Tuttle, and Joshua Tuttle to collect pumpkins in honor of the Tuttle’s four heavenly children. In 2021, a discarded pumpkin from the previous year grew into an impromptu pumpkin patch. Kayla chose to paint images of these pumpkins for her art studio and invited Crystal to speak during her Global Wave of Light event. In 2022 the trio hosted their first remembrance walk and created the White Pumpkin Family.
